I found this passage after being pointed at the blog by Heritage Crafts asssociations facebook page, looks a good read, now ordered on Amazon.

“ We need to be inspired to be epic, to seek epic wins – to design for transformation, to make informed choices and co-author innovative new possibilities that can enable humanity to lead a life not constrained by the crushing reality of industrial-age thinking but one designed around the primary needs of humanity. We need to explore our non-linear world, not exploit it.”

…amazing what you can do with some fire and some machines… like it!

Saw this guy today in Totnes, his name is Justin, and he makes wonderful instruments from household items.

Justin's guitar( uke?) saucepan- brilliant!

Kind reminded me of an adaptation I did for someone who needed some help playing his Ukulele:-

Not in the same league as Justin, but it shows what we can do the resources to hand ! Good stuff ..
